Sunpoint Trading Limited (Formerly known as Sun Finlease (Gujarat) Limited) is a Public Company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956.

The Company was incorporated on 21st January, 1988 as a Private Limited Company, under the Companies Act, 1956 as H.N. Investments Private Limited which was later converted into Public Company as H.N. Investments Limited and subsequent on conversion to public company changed its name to Sun Finlease (Gujarat) Limited by receiving Fresh Certificate of Incorporation consequent on Change of Name was issued by Registrar of Companies (ROC), Gujarat, Dadar and Nagar Haveli at Ahmedabad on 8th March, 1995.

The Company was classified as an Investment Company by RBI and was registered as a Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) on 19th March, 1998. The Company is listed on Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India Limited (MSEI) w.e.f. 22nd September, 2016.

Pursuant to voluntary exit from the Non-Banking Financial Institution (NBFI) business the Company surrendered its RBI Certificate of Registration (CoR) and the same was cancelled by RBI by its order dated 20th September, 2023. Due to which the Name of the Company further changed from Sun Finlease (Gujarat) Limited to Sunpoint Trading Limited vide New Certificate of Incorporation pursuant to change of name issued by ROC Ahmedabad on 10th November, 2023 and also the Company under went change in its Main Objects for which Certificate of Registration of the Special Resolution Confirming Alteration of Object Clause was received from ROC Ahmedabad on 28th November, 2023, to exclude the business of NBFI and undertake business of commission agents by trading in all kind of products including merchandise, agriculture products, precious metals, home appliances, all type of consumer and industrial products and Retail sale of jewellery and imitation jewellery.
